Performer

Brianne is an active soloist and chamber musician. Perviously, she was a member of the Potsdam Brass Quintet and Principal Trumpet of the Orchestra of Northern New York. Having an accomplished orchestral and solo career, she has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony, Monarch Brass, Arizona Musicfest Orchestra, as a featured artist for the 2019 International Women’s Brass Conference, and under the baton of great conductors such as Gunther Schuller, Karina Canellakis, Tito Muñoz, and Helmuth Rilling.
Brianne is proud to be an S.E. Shires Artist.

Educator

Brianne is currently Assistant Professor of Trumpet at the University of Delaware. She has a thriving studio of trumpet players, as well as coaches brass chamber music and trumpet ensemble. Invested in teaching future music majors, Brianne is also on faculty Bristol Hills Music Camp and Saarburg Seranaden, an international chamber music festival in Germany. 
Additionally, she maintains a small private studio of trumpet players seeking to maintain a positive relationship with their instrument while playing at a high level.

Researcher

An advocate for musicians' wellness, Brianne's research centers around musculoskeletal health, performance anxiety, the practical application of yoga, and stress of musicians and music educators. 

Brianne is co-owner and CEO of Yoga for All Musicians, a virtual yoga studio designed to meet the specific needs of musicians.

Clinician

Brianne is in high demand for performances and clinics and travels to numerous universities and conferences nationally and internationally as a guest artist. Recent appearances include the Colburn School, the New World Symphony, S.E. Shires, The Conn-Selmer Institute, the NAMM Conference, the International Trumpet Guild Conference, the International Women's Brass Conference, the College Music Society Conference, to list a few. 
Her areas of expertise cover many realms trumpet playing, integrating wellness into pedagogy, yoga for musicians, mindfulness for performance anxiety, as well as presenting her research papers and topics.
